ADVANCING RETREAT - SMOKY MOUNTAINS
New Option Now Available
There’s something new in the Smoky Mountains for corporate
retreats.
Up until now the choices were fairly limited. You could pick
a hotel with meeting rooms, which offered convenience but not much atmosphere. Or you could rent a cabin, which gave you the
beauty of the mountains, but not much in the way of meeting capabilities.
Now there’s a new and different choice with the best
of both: Big Cabins. They range in size from 8 to 12
bedrooms. The largest can accommodate up to 52 people. Tennessee

But just as importantly, the company behind them understands
the big picture. They understand that a corporate retreat is a
business investment. It’s time invested with the goal of
a team doing its best thinking and brightest problem-solving,
as well as bonding as a group.
“People who rented our smaller cabins in the past would
often tell us they wished they could have business retreats in
a setting like this,” said Rod Thompson, owner of Big Cabins.
“Then they’d mention that it probably wouldn’t
work because of the specific services they needed.”
“It seemed like a logical next step to us,” said
Matt Thompson, his son and partner. “Why not give people
everything they need for a retreat at a setting where they
can
enjoy more privacy, fewer distractions and beautiful views of
the Smoky Mountains?”
In essence, they have created a luxury retreat in the Smoky
Mountains with concierge level service. From projectors to tee-times,
from
meals to fly-fishing, Big Cabins, in Tennessee, will arrange
whatever a client
wants.
Actually, there’s plenty to do without leaving your big
rental cabin. The mountain views from a rocking chair and the
hot tub
on the
huge decks are spectacular. Inside, every Big Cabin has big screen
TV with satellite service. Guests can play pool, foosball or
air
hockey. Or you can just curl up with a good book.
While catering is available, if guests want to cook they have
everything they need. The cabin kitchens are spacious, with
state-of-the-art
appliances.
"In essence, we want people to have options,” said
Thompson. “They can have everything taken care of for
them, or they can just have a great facility and handle it
all themselves.
It’s completely up to them.” Tennessee Cabins
There are several large group Tennessee Cabins available, so
groups of almost any size can be accommodated.
